People around the world are using magnetic field detectors for metal detection. metal detector app uses a simple concept of magnetic field detection because metals have their own magnetic fields. Whenever the reading is high there could be a metallic/electronic object around. That area can be rechecked manually for further investigation.
This can be used to find metal objects such as nails, wires and any other metallic object. this metal detector cannot detect gold, copper and silver because they are non-ferrous and they don't have magnetic field.
The accuracy of tool is very much dependent on the sensor of your device. This app requires magnetometer sensor in your phone to run otherwise you cannot be able to use this metal detector app in your phone. Turn your smartphone into a metal detector making it more useful than ever.
If you are using metal detector with sound and the app gives the high reading even having nothing nearby, then you just need to re calibrate the magnetic field detector sensor. This is done by opening the metal finder app in your phone and shaking your phone gently making a figure 8 pattern for 4 to 5 times to re-calibrate the sensor.
